阅读理解的问题也以如下形式出现:1.Whatisthebesttitlefor/ofthepassage?2.Whatcanbeinferredfromthepassage?3.Whatdoestheauthormainlytellusaboutinthetext?4.Whatismainlydiscussedinthearticle/passage/text? It’snottheflashiestcarintheworld.Notevenclose. 1.问句式A. Whichofthefollowingpeopleshould(not)doit?Whichofthefollowingdidsomebodyhavetodealwith...?Whereshouldsomebodydosomething?B. Cattlehaveservedhumanitysinceprehistoric(史前)daysasbeastsofburdenandassupplierofleather,meat,andmilk.Someoftheearliestwrittenrecordsconcernthesaleofcattle.Thesevaluableanimalsareunusualinthattheydonothavefrontteethintheirupperjaw.Insteadtheychewwiththeirbackteethandgums(齿龈).Cowsswallowtheirfoodquicklyandstoreitinthefatstomachorrumen,thefirstofthefourcompartmentsstomachsintheir.Questions:Accordingtothepassage,whatistherumen?A.Thefirststomachcompartment.B.Thenameoftheupperjaw.C.Thestomachwheredigestion(消化)takesplace.D.Thenameofthebacteria(细菌)inthecow'sstomach. Acertainkindofpersonissomeonewho.Peoplearelookingforbetterwaysto.\nAccordingtotheauthor,“it”wascausedby.B. 3.排除式A. WhichofthefollowingisTRUE?WhichofthefollowingisNOTlistedin...?WhichofthefollowingisNOTincludedinthepassage?B. LifeonLandLifeonlandprobablybeganabout430millionyearsago,thoughithasexistedinthewaterforperhapsaslongas3000millionyears.Whenwethinkofthefirstlifeonland,weprobablythinkofstrangeanimalscomingoutoftheoceans,but,infact,noanimalscouldhavebeenlivingifplantshadnotbeenonlandfirst.Plantshadtobeonlandbeforeanimalsarrived.Theysuppliedthefirstlandanimalswiththesurroundingandfoodnecessary,sincethey--theplantsaretheonlyformoflifethatisabletogetandstoreenergy.Thefirstplantstoexistoutofthewaterwereprobablycertainkindsofalgae(海藻)whichwerefollowedbyotherplantsthatgrewclosetothegroundandneededwaterinwhichtoreproduce.WhichofthefollowingisTRUE?A.Algaehaveexistedformorethan430millionyears.\nB.Itisimpossiblethatalgaemightbetheearliestplantonland.C.Plantsgetfoodfromanimalsintheoceans.D.Evolutionbeganafteranimalsappearedonland. Thereasonisquitesimple.Whenwesingortalktoplants,weexhale(呼出)CO2whichplantsneedtosurvive(continuetolive)andgrowbetter.Plantsabsorb(takein)CO2throughtheirpores(小孔)duringthesunlighthoursandproduceoxygenwhichpeopletosurvive.Singingandtalkinghavegoodeffectonplants,however,onlyduringthedaytime. Theywerebothtallandworelongandfairhair.Theybothwalkedwithasteadystride(坚定的步伐).Theybothspokeinadeepvoicethatmadethemselvesseemmucholderthantheyreallywere.Bothofthemworedarkclothesasarule,andtheylikedlightcolouredties.Butthatwasallthelikenesstheyhad.Inotherthingstheyweresharplydifferent.Joewasconsiderateandhelpful,andeveryonelikedhim.Jim,however,wasveryselfishandoftenflaredintoterribleanger(勃然大怒)atlittlethingsthatdispleasedhim.AlikeasJoeandJimwereonthesurface,theywerereallyverydifferentinnature. Whenabullet(子弹)isshotstraightup,itwilltravelmuchfasterandhigherthanaball,butit,too,willcomedown.Whatevergoesupmustcomedown.Wehaveal-waysthoughtthistobetrue.Anairplanemayclimbtoaheightofseventeenmilesandthentravelfarandlong.Yetitdoesnotstayupforever. Therelationshipdevelopsuntilthetwopartnerscannotmanagewithouteachother.Thisissoincorals(珊瑚)ofthesea.Intheirskins,coralshavetinyplantswhichactas"dustmen",takingsomeofthewasteproductsfromthecoralandgivinginreturnoxygenwhichtheanimalneedsverymuchtobreathe. 在oxygen之后又出现了一个定语从句:whichtheanimalneedsverymuchtobreathe(\n此种动物非常需要呼吸的氧气)。 例如:However,thequestionthat"moonpeople"askedisstillaninterestingone.Agrowingnumberofscientistsareseriouslythinkingaboutit. 以一顶百!9年来我们在自我独门秘笈的基础上,20%参阅了132种全国知名高考英语教案或资料\n(如:新东方,张清波,北京四中李俊和,管卫东,提分宝典,高频考点等)。 ButIdecidedtogivethemanothershotbecauseI'minLondon.AndmyfriendMalleryinvitedme.AndbecausedinnerpartiesinLondonareverydifferentfromthosebackinNewYork.There,'“I’mhavingadinnerparty'means:"I'mbookingatablefor12atarestaurantyoucan'taffordandwe'llbesharingthechecqueevenly,nomatterwhatyoueat."Worse,inManhattanthereisalwayssomeonewholeavesbeforethebillarrives.They'llthrowdowncash,halfofwhattheyowe,andthenpeoplelikeme,whodon’tdrink,enduppayingevenmore.ButifItrytousethesametrick,thehostesswillshout:"Whereareyougoing?"Andit'snotlikeIcansayIhavesomewheretogo:everyoneknowIhavenowheretogo.ButinLondon,dinnerpartiesareinpeople'shomes.(转折对比,说明前面NewYorkers评价是Self-centred.)Notonlythat,theguestsareaninterestingmix.ThelasttimeIwenttoone,theguestswerefromFrance,India.DenmarkandNigeria;itwaslikeagatheringattheUnited\nNationsinNewYork.Themixislessstriking.It'slikeagatheringatBloomingdale's,awell-knowndepartmentstore.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------61.WhatdoesthewriterdislikemostaboutdinnerpartiesinNewYork?AThereisastrangemixofpeople.B.Therestaurantsareexpensive.C.Thebillisnotfairlyshared.D.Peoplehavetopaycash63.Whatistheauthor'sopinionofsomeNewYorkersfromherexperience?A.Easy-going.B.Self-centred.C.Generous.D.Conservative.【2012四川卷E篇】Sofar,effortstocutemissions(排放)ofplanet-warminggreenhousegasesarenotseenasenoughtopreventtheEarthheatingupbeyond2℃thiscentury—apointscientistssaywillbringthedangerofachangeableclimateinwhichweatherextremesarecommon,leadingtodrought,floods,cropfailuresandrisingsealevels.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------60.Whatcanbeinferredfromthelasttwoparagraphsabouttheworld’stemperature?A.Ithasrisennearly0.2℃since1979.B.Itschangewillleadtoweatherextremes.C.Itis0.8℃higherin1979thanthatof1990.D.Itneedstobecontrolledwithin2℃inthiscentury.【2012四川卷A篇】Theseasonschangejustoutsidethedoor.Wewatchthemaplesturneveryshadeofyellowandredinthefallandnotethepoplars’(杨树)puttingoutthefirstgreenleavesofspring.Therainbowsmeltfillsthelocalsteamastheicegraduallydisappears,andthewoodfrogsstarttosinginpoolsafterbeingfrozenforthewinter.Afamilyofbirdsrulesourskiesandfliesoverthelake.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------43.Whatdoestheunderlinedsentenceinthelastparagraphmean?A.Thechangeofseasonsiseasilyfelt.B.Theseasonsmakethesceneschange.C.Theweatheroftenchangesintheforest.D.Thedoorisagoodpositiontoenjoychangingseasons.【2012陕西卷C篇】Theauthorsofbothstudiesstressthattheserisksarerelativelysmallforhealthypeopleandcertainlymodestcomparedwithotherriskfactorssuchassmokingandhighbloodpre
